Windows 11 Requires TPM Support
Microsoft Windows 11 requires a motherboard or computing platform with TPM 2.0 support.
TPM support can be implemented via chipset or motherboard firmware, and can be enabled or disabled using the system’s BIOS utility (it must be enabled in order to use Windows 11).
Most motherboards and computing systems manufactured after 2016 support TPM 2.0. For more information, please consult your motherboard and/or computer system’s user documentation, or contact the manufacturer’s Support Department.
