The Highpoint Linux driver is only supported for specific Linux distributions, such as Fedora/RedHat/Debian/Ubuntu/Rocky Linux. We did not develop it for the GPL and only the parts related to the system are open source.
At present, our drivers support LACS2.0(auto compile for Linux). When the system kernel changes, this function will self-compile or obtain the latest pre-compiled drivers in the background. This function will automatically check and obtain the latest drivers when the system restarts. If the new kernel does not work, it will automatically reboot using the older kernel to keep the system operational.
That way, even if you update the kernel, you will reduce or directly avoid driver load problems caused by kernel updates.
