Yes –SSD7500 series PCIe 4.0 NVMe RAID controllers are fully backwards compatible with PCIe 3.0 slots.

Note, maximum performance is only possible if the controllers are installed into a PCIe 4.0 (Gen4) x16 slot. However, they will otherwise function normally with a PCIe 3.0 (Gen3) slot.

In addition, SSD7500 series controllers support PCIe Gen3 NVMe SSD’s. This allows customers to provide additional bandwidth for large RAID configurations of 6 or more NVMe SSD’s, and deliver maximum throughput (14,000 MB/s).
