Can SSD7000 series M.2 NVMe RAID controllers support a PCIe M.2 mobile rack?

No – SSD7000 series M.2 NVMe RAID controllers directly host M.2 SSD’s. They do not have external connectors.

However, our SSD7120 U.2 NVMe RAID controller can support internal U.2 NVMe enclosures.

The SSD7120 can be connected to U.2 NVMe backplanes/enclosures via the HighPoint 8643-8643-060 NVMe cable. Note, the host platform’s chassis/case must be large enough to support an internal U.2 enclosure.
