This is determined by Port Count. There are no capacity limitations on the SSD side; HighPoint NVMe RAID controllers and HBA’s are capable of supporting SSD’s of any capacity.
For example, a 4-port controller can support four 8TB SSD’s, for a total capacity of 32TB.
An 8-port controller supports twice as many; eight 8TB SSD’s for a total capacity of 64TB.
For a list of SSD’s known to be compatible with HighPoint NVMe RAID controllers, please download the compatibility lists we provide for the SSD7500, SSD7000 and SSD6200 series. These are available from the Resources pages /Drop-Down menus for each product.
HighPoint Rocket 1000 Series NVMe Host Controllers were designed to support all industrial-standard NVMe SSDs.
