Can I use third party storage enclosures with HighPoint controller cards?
HighPoint RocketRAID series controller cards were designed for use with RocketStor series storage enclosures, and HighPoint Certified Cable Accessories.
We do not, in general, verify our products with 3rd party devices.
Our enclosures and cabling accessories were designed to optimize I/O performance, stability, and ensure signal reliability with our controller card and adapter products. These devices use industry-standard connectors, but the pin definitions and layouts are often unique, and we cannot guarantee compatibility with 3rd party solutions.
