When attempting to install Windows 10 to an NVMe SSD or array hosted by the SSD7000 series controller, Windows Setup reports the following error:
What causes this problem?
Windows Setup may report this error if other NVMe devices are connected to the motherboard (either directly to the motherboard or via another PCIe device) while installing the operating system.
Solution:
Before installing Windows to an NVMe SSD or array hosted by the SSD7000 controller, make sure all other NVMe devices are removed from the system until Windows Setup is complete. Once Setup is complete, and Windows can be successfully booted from the SSD7000 controller, these devices can be reinstalled.
