When using HighPoint products, do you need to set the SATA Model in the motherboard BIOS to RAID Mode?

No, this is not required. HighPoint SAS/SATA/NVMe controllers and enclosures do not require a particular “SATA Mode” setting for the motherboard’s BIOS menu. For most motherboards, the default SATA Mode BIOS setting is AHCI. HighPoint products can be used normally with this setting enabled.
