KB Content:

In general, we do not recommend using SSD7000 controllers with motherboard that incorporate the PLX8747 or similar PCIe switch chipsets. Installing the controller into a PCIe slot associated with an onboard switch chipset may limit the transfer performance of hosted NVMe storage, as these slots do not normally support PCIe x16 lanes (electrical).

However, aide from this performance limitation, the SSD7000 controller will function normally.
