Why is FnL RAID Drives limited to RAID 0, 1, or 1/0? Are any options available for RAID 5, 6, or 50?

Currently, FnL RAID drives are only available in RAID 0, 1, 1/0, or JBOD configurations. This is largely due to the real-world usage requirements and limitations of today’s M.2 NVMe RAID drives.

RAID 50, 6, and 5 are not recommended for current M.2 NVMe SSD’s. Maintaining parity for these types of RAID levels significantly impacts the lifespan of M.2 NVMe media, which have finite write endurance (TBW). This applies to both hardware and software RAID configurations.
