HighPoint certified cable accessories are custom designed and tested for each controller and enclosure product series. Our long history in the storage industry, and strong partnerships with leading cable manufactures, enable us to deliver unique cabling solutions for our entire storage product portfolio.

While it is true that HighPoint cable accessories utilize industry standard connectors, our pin definitions and layouts are proprietary; they are designed specifically to interface with our PCIe controllers, adapters, and storage enclosures, to facilitate stable connectivity and maximum transfer performance.

For this reason, HighPoint RAID, storage and connectivity solutions must be used with HighPoint Certified Cable Accessories. 

Third-party cables may not function properly with our product lines; customers that choose to use 3^rd party cables with our storage solutions may experience a variety of technical and stability problems including device recognition and compatibility issues, unstable connections, dropped disks and/or arrays, and performance degradation. 

As a result, we will be unable to provide technical support for customers using uncertified third party accessories. In addition, we reserve the right to deny RMA repair or replacement requests if our products our paired with unsupported or uncertified devices.
